Year 6 Fence Painting

On the 22 of August 2017 the year 6s did their fence art to represent them and their time at Vardon school.First we sketched our draft onto the wooden plank.Next we painted the wooden planks we couldn't use over 1 or 2 brushes which made it l million times harder.Lastly we had to sharpie. It was kind of funny when Miss Wyllie added TWO N's in my name ha ha,when I finished I cleaned up my work space and relaxed.I am proud of my work.I had so much fun.🦄🦄

My reflction of my first week of school

I am looking foward to being a student counciler and joining the basketball team.

Somthing I have found challenging was beliving I am a year 6.

What am I going to do in term 4?

Term four is going to be the best term ever also the busiest term. There will be alot of opportunity's open like house captain, student councillor,road patrol and much more.I will try to achieve my goal to be a student councillor and to be part of the road patrol team.Next year I am looking foreword to the new people and making new friends. what I have enjoyed so far was RATT, and basket ball these two things are my favourite things so far.I cant wait for next year and I will achieve my goals.

Tyana's cross country running

Yesterday I had cross country I ran with the nine year old girls.

I got 4th place I had almost came third.

I was running full speed ahead.

I had to run 4 lapsI was so tired after the race.

I had so much fun i had anawesome day.

End of term two reflection

Something I enjoyed this term was dressing up as book characters,guessing the teachers,doing P.E shed,winter sports but my favourite thing is playing basket ball.

Something I found challenging this term was spelling because there are some tricky words I can't spell.

Something interesting this term was meeting Paul Bradly and finding out about him.

I was in the Cambodian,Philippine and Thailand culture group. I had to hold up a puppet against a screen. I was excited but frighted at the same time because I did not want to rip the sheet. My favourite group was the Indian because I liked the dance.

Fitness

Each week our class does fitness, circuits, skipping and cross country training. 

We do exercise to get fit and healthy in our body and to get stronger and to have fun.

My favourite exercise was skipping because it is fun and easy and I can do tricks like the criss cross. 

The trickiest exercise was cross country because we had to run a lot of laps and I can run out of breath really quick.

My favorite part of the team was balloon day because we got to splat water balloon's at people and I got to splat the teacher.

Pirongia facts

Room 8 and all the other middle classes went to Pirongia. Pirongia is a huge volcano that had exploded 2 in a half million years ago. It has a beautiful bush walk with lots of native trees and birds.

camp 2015!!!!

Last week on Thursday it was a special day for the middles it was ... camp!!!!The whole entire syndicate was waiting for this day to come. We all brought our own stuffed toys to sleep with! Camp is just like having a sleepover. At camp we had to bring a sleeping bag, a torch, a tent, some blankets, school clothing, pjs and shoes. Camp was awesome.
